Brave 7yo girl rescues younger siblings from car after crash in Qld
A brave 7-year-old girl has pulled her two younger siblings from a car accident on the Sunshine Coast today.
The children’s mother was seriously injured in the crash, which occurred off Gregors Creek Road at Woolmar, near Kilcoy, around 7.45am.
The 28-year-old woman suffered suspected chest, arm and spinal injuries and was airlifted to Nambour General Hospital.
LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor Matthew Mulkeen said the young girl was being haled a hero, having rescued her two-and three-year-old siblings from the wreckage.
The children were not injured in the accident however were taken to Nambour hospital for a further medical assessment.
