Brazen thieves use ladder to break into roof of Coomera tobacco warehouse
Brazen thieves have broken into a warehouse at Coomera via the roof of the building, making off with a significant amount of tobacco products.
Police said that the break and enter is believed to have occurred between 2.00am Saturday, October 1 and 6.30am Monday, October 3.
“The offenders have forced entry to the Kohl Street property via the roof, using a ladder stolen from a nearby business,” Gold Coast Police said in a statement.
“Once inside the premises, offenders have disabled the alarm system and forced open a number of shipping containers before stealing a significant amount of tobacco products.”
The targeted business is believed to be owned by the Candyman – Travers Beynon.
