It is being reported on Tuesday morning that A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack has been admitted to hospital days after he found out he was facing child pornography charges.
The 42-year-old went to a NSW hospital on Monday for a mental health assessment according to the Brisbane Times.
Police searched his home and ACA’s offices in Willoughby on Sydney’s north shore before he was arrested and charged and released on bail with strict conditions.

Police say McCormack, who has been suspended by the Nine Network, had explicit conversations about children with another man online.
The Brisbane Times reports his lawyer, Sam Macedone, said on Monday night he did not know how long Mr McCormack would be in hospital.
His next court appearance was set down for May 1.
