UPDATE at 12:01 AM, THURSDAY, APRIL 11 | AN Amber Alert issued for a 22-month-old girl missing from northern NSW has been cancelled after the toddler was found on the Gold Coast.
The little girl was found safe at an address in Southport about 10:30pm on Wednesday, police said.
The NSW Police Force issued an Amber Alert for the 22-month-old about 3:20pm on Wednesday after officers went to execute a Child Recovery Order but could not find the girl, or her 24-year-old father.

In a statement at 11:35pm, NSW Police confirmed the toddler was “safely located” at an address in Southport on the Gold Coast about 10:30pm and said investigations into the matter were ongoing.
