Body found in park at Southport
Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body in a park at Southport on the Gold Coast.
The body is understood to have been found in Henry William Wakefield Park, near West King Lane, around 9.30am.
Detectives are establishing a crime scene with preliminary investigations now underway.
It’s believed the man, who police say was aged about 30, may have died from a drug overdose.
