AMERICAN actress and singer Florence Henderson, best known for her role as matriarch Carol Brady on ‘The Brady Bunch’, has died aged 82, according to her manager.
The Associated Press broke the news around 3.45pm AEST on Friday.
Henderson’s career spanned a staggering six decades. Alongside her role on the ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch from 1969 to 1974, Henderson also appeared on film as well as on stage.

Most recently, she was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars in 2010 and began hosting her own cooking show, Who’s Cooking with Florence Henderson, on RLTV in February 2013.
