Crews rush to car fire in Surfers Paradise
A CAR has burst into flames at a residential apartment tower in Surfers Paradise.
It’s understood the vehicle caught fire in a car park at the Paradise Towers on Surfers Paradise Boulevard, near Trickett Street just after 12.30pm.
The fire produced a large amount of black smoke, so much so, it was initially feared the building may have been on fire.
Firefighters were quick to arrive on the scene and extinguish the inferno before it could spread.
Paramedics were on standby, however, no one is thought to have been injured.
