Emergency services rush to restaurant fire in Broadbeach

Fire fighters have been called to a building in Broadbeach this afternoon, after reports a blaze had broken out in a kitchen.

It’s understood the blaze broke out around 4.15pm, in a restaurant on Charles Street.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services confirmed they were called to the blaze around 4.20pm, following reports a wok caught fire in a Noodle Shop in the Oracle Building.


Two crews attended the scene.

Witnesses say they could see flames from the street.

It comes as the Groundwater Country Music Festival gets underway in Broadbeach, with an excess amount of people now in the vicinity.

Luckily, no injuries have been reported.
