Firies battling ferocious Gold Coast house fire

Fire crews are currently battling a massive fire that’s broken out at a home in Southport.

Emergency crews were called to the property on Shirley Street just after 7.40am this morning after receiving multiple calls for help.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesperson told myGC the home is “well-involved”.

Two fire crews are on scene at the moment, with another two on their way.

It’s not yet known if anyone has been injured.
