A number of new COVID-19 exposure sites have been identified on the Gold Coast this afternoon.
It’s understood the sites are linked to an aviation worker from Biggera Waters who tested positive to the virus yesterday.
Queensland Health has issued a public health alert for four new venues across the city.

Drakes Supermarket at Biggera Waters has been listed as a low-risk site for between 4.20pm – 4.40pm on Monday 27 September.
The Gold Coast Performance Centre in Runaway Bay has also been identified as a low-risk venue between 4.20pm – 5pm on Tuesday 28 September.
The 7-ELEVEN on Bayview Street in Runaway Bay has been listed as a casual contact venue between 5pm – 5.45pm that same day.
While the Shell Service Station along the Gold Coast Highway in Miami has also been identifed as a casual contact site between 8.15am – 8.40am on Monday 27 September.
There are now eleven COVID-19 exposure sites across the Gold Coast.
