The NRL’s Integrity Unit has launched an investigation into a fresh sex tape scandal reportedly involving a “high profile player”.
The video shows a man and woman having sex in a public toilet cubicle, with the video appearing to have been filmed over the toilet door by another person.
The Parramatta Eels released a statement on Wednesday, confirming one of its players is at the centre of the scandal.

“The Club has become aware of a video involving one of its players,” the statement said.
“We understand that those on the video have been illegally filmed by another person without consent and that an attempt has been made to distribute the video to media outlets and on social media platforms.
“The Club has informed the NRL integrity unit and is taking the matter very seriously, particularly given the potential invasion of privacy of those involved.
“The Club will not be making any further comment.”
According to Nine, the woman involved has reportedly engaged a legal firm as the video was filmed without her knowledge or consent.
