Police are currently scouring parts of the Gold Coast after a woman escaped hotel quarantine overnight.
The 24-year woman was directed to isolate at a quarantine hotel in Broadbeach back on August 2, a police spokesperson told myGC.
Police allege she was then able to escape from the premises by forcing access through a glass door and fleeing the area.
