An emergency declaration has been made due to an unfolding police incident in Sunnybank.
Police made the declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act around 11.15am on Thursday.
An exclusion zone has now been set up and is bounded by Dyson Avenue, Geddes Place, Beenleigh Road and Ganda place.

Residents within the exclusion zone are being urged to follow the advice of emergency services on the ground.
Members of the public are also being advised to avoid the area.
It’s not yet been confirmed what has sparked the emergency declaration, however, there are reports police are on scene negotiating with an armed man.
