BREAKING: Three dead in ‘terror attack’ at Colombian shopping centre
Three women are dead, and another 11 have been seriously wounded in a “cowardly terrorist attack” at a shopping centre in the Colombian capital Bogota.
Hundreds of people were forced to run for their lives on Saturday afternoon after a bomb reportedly exploded in the women’s bathroom of the upscale Centro Andino Mall.
Bogota Mayor Enrique Penalosa confirmed the deaths in a statement posted to his official twitter account.
“I regret to inform that 3 women were killed by a bomb in the Andino Centre. Another is in serious condition, but not at risk of death.”

It’s understood one of the victims was a 23-year-old French woman who had been working in the area as a volunteer for six months.
The two other victims are Colombians aged 27 and 31, local media say.
Mayor Penalosa described the explosion as a “cowardly terrorist attack.”
