“Both of the gentlemen were clinically in stable conditions, and reportedly they were quite comfortable,” Jayney Shearman from QAS said.

Investigations are underway this morning, with detectives expected to talk to the victims once they’re ok in hospital.

Early inquiries suggest a motive may be linked to an MMA fight on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.

Police aren’t positive that the shooting happened at the car park, saying the victims may have been shot elsewhere and then driven to the shopping centre.

The vehicle is undergoing forensic testing today, while it’s understood the suspected shooter/s got away in a black Audi.

Investigations are continuing.

Nice place the Northern end of the Gold Coast……

This is what happens when you allow imports from Sydney, Melb & New Zealand onto the Coast. Will just be some dero drug dealers and users anyway, so no loss.

MMA fighters/fans…says everything really. Typical Gold Coast tough guys…big egos small u know what. Prancing around with their pistolas like Clint Eastwood. What a joke this place is.
