There have been another six cases of coronavirus diagnosed in Melbourne, since the release of this morning’s figures.
It means that over the last 24 hours or so, there has been a total of 11 cases diagnosed across the state.
Victorian authorities have also confirmed that two aged care facilities have been drawn into the outbreak, with a worker, a resident and a family member of the resident confirmed as positive infections.

Acting Premier James Merlino says this is a very serious situation, that may still get worse.
“We are very concerned about the number of other high-risk exposure sites,” Mr Merlino said in this afternoon’s update.
“We are seeing a small number of cases infecting a large number of contacts.
“There is no doubt, the situation is incredibly serious. The next few days remain critical.
“I want to be very clear with everyone, this outbreak may well get worse before it gets better,” he said.
More to come.
