A WOMAN has died after reportedly being shot in the head in Brisbane’s south.
It happened on a semi-rural property on Wembley Road, near Arshad Drive, at Karawatha.
Police said emergency services were called to the scene just after 3am on Saturday.

It’s understood a 40-year-old woman was shot in the head at the home, according to the Courier Mail.
Sadly, the woman could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene, police confirmed.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known.
A man who was at the address and is known to the woman is assisting police with their inquiries.
The Wembley Road home has been declared a crime scene and is being examined by forensic police.
Homicide detectives have also spent the morning at the home.
