Detectives have arrested and charged a man after a young girl was allegedly indecently assaulted after getting into a stranger’s car in the NSW Hunter Region last month.
Police said that on Monday 22 August, an 11-year-old girl was walking along George Booth Drive in Stockrington around midday when she was approached by a man who stopped his car and spoke to her, offering her a lift.
The youngster, who was dressed in a yellow and blue fairytale costume, got into the man’s car where she was allegedly indecently assaulted.
