Breast cancer survivors dragon boating today

SURVIVORS of breast cancer will join together to paddle dragon boats to the benefit of their physical health and social wellbeing today.

The race takes place in the final day of the dragon boat competition, part of the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games.

The All Cancer Survivors race will feature three teams, Rainbow Region Dragon Boat Club, Boobialla, and Dragons Abreast Bendigo.

Breast cancer survivors dragon boating is an international movement inspired by the research of Canadian sports medicine specialist Don McKenzie.

The final day of competition will commence from 8am to 5pm at Lake Orr, 337 Christine Avenue, Varsity Lakes.
