Bride sends bill to ‘no shows’ after tying the knot

A bride in the United States has charged wedding guests who were MIA on her big day.

The woman from Minnesota sent those who did not attend a bill for $106 after they failed to show up to the reception.

One was Jessica Baker, who told a US television station that she was forced to stay at home because her mum was no longer able to babysit at the last minute.

A few weeks after the wedding, Mrs Baker received a bill asking her to cover the cost of her and her husband’s meals.

News.com.au also said the bill was accompanied by a note that read; “This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP’d for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, call or text would be appreciated.”

Mrs Baker also said she was not planning to send the newlyweds a gift or a card.
