Brisbane businesses destroyed by ‘suspicious’ fire
Police are treating a fire that destroyed several businesses in Moorooka overnight as suspicious.
The large blaze erupted around 9.30pm at a commercial building on Ipswich Road.
Emergency services raced to the scene, with police closing the road for over two hours while the fire was brought under control.
The building was extensively damaged by the flames, however luckily no one was injured.
A crime scene has been established. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
