BRISBANE Roar are on the hunt for a new coach, after Mike Mulvey was sacked.
It comes just six months after he led the A-League club to the premiership championship double.
It’s believed the decision was made after a board review of the club’s off-season activities.

It’s understood a mixture of poor recruiting and some big departures also added Mulvey’s departure.
The Roar have had a disappointing start to the season, with five losses out of their first six matches, struggling after the departure of star striker Besart Berisha who now plays for Melbourne Victory.
There’s been talk of former Netherlands international Frans Thijssen taking over as coach, but Roar managing director Sean Dobson did not comment on Mulvey’s replacement.
