Bunnies settle in Titans’ back yard

SOUTH Sydney have set up a development base on the Gold Coast.

They’ve also hired former Maroons lock Scott Sattler to target local rising stars.

Sattler, the Titan’s foundation football manager, has accepted a part-time recruitment position for Souths, according to the Sunday Mail.

Sattler has strong ties with South Sydney, with his father, John, the club’s last premiership-winning captain.

The Titans are sure to take offence at the Rabbitohs storming into their local area.

Officials have already expressed concerns over the talent drain on the Coast, with the Titan’s under-20’s side finishing last in 2012 and only one place better in 2013.

The Titans have extended their scope into the Northern New South Wales region in hopes of luring new talent but the Rabbitohs have already dipped their fingers in there too.

Sattler is aware of the talent in the Titans’ network and is looking to help lead South Sydney to premiership glory.
