Burleigh Waters shopkeeper threatened during armed robbery

A Burleigh Waters business has been held up by a man armed with a knife.

It is claimed that he walked into the business on Treeview Place around 7.30pm on Sunday night and threatened the owner with the blade.

He got a large amount of cigarettes and cash and ran outside to meet a friend before both men left together.


The man is described as around 184cms tall and was wearing a white mask, black jumper with grey sleeves and dark pants.

The appearance of the second man is unknown.
