Bus driver head-butted in shocking attack
Police are hunting for a teenager who seriously assaulted a bus driver in Brisbane.
The young man and a woman boarded the bus in Mount Gravatt East, at the intersection of Cavendish Road and Creek Road, around 6pm on Saturday.
He then became involved in a verbal altercation with the 67-year-old male driver.
The teenager head butted the driver, causing a serious facial injury.
He continued to lash out at the man before running off with his female companion along Cavendish Road.
The driver was taken to QEII Hospital with a facial wound and possible fracture.
Police investigations are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
