Busy night for Gold Coast paramedics following spate of crashes

Paramedics have been kept busy on the Gold Coast overnight, with crews called to several crashes across the city which saw three people hospitalised.

The first accident happened around 6.20pm, when a vehicle and moped collided on Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise.

A male patient was treated at the scene for shoulder pain before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Just a few minutes later, paramedics were called to a car and motorbike crash in Oxenford.

It happened on the Pacific Motorway around 6.25pm, with a woman in her 20s escaping with minor injuries.

While a man was also taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital following a motorbike crash at Tamborine Mountain.

The accident happened at the intersection of Curtis Road and Geissmann Drive just after 9.30pm.

The man suffered a foot injury and was in a stable condition.
