THIS IS NOT A DRILL – Cadbury is looking for chocolate tasters! AND it’s a paid role!
Mondelēz International – the company responsible for pumping out the brilliance which is Cadbury, as well as Oreo, Milka and Trident brands, is looking for multiple part time tasters to make sure their product is on point (AKA – not. a. difficult. role. at. all.)
The main responsibilities of the role include: ‘Be able to taste chocolate products and give objective and honest feedback’, and some other stuff that we can’t quite process right now because this company will pay you to eat chocolate and that’s fantastic.

Here’s a more exact description, as taken from their online advertisement.
“Our Chocolate Tasters are key in helping Mondelez perfect and launch an entirely new product all over the world by tasting and providing feedback just like our consumers. You will work alongside approximately 11 Chocolate Tasters and a panel leader; sharing opinions and collaborating with others to reach an agreement on taste. No experience is required as full training will be provided to develop your taste buds and the specific vocabulary required to communicate your opinions,” the advertisement reads.
“We’re the world’s leading maker of Chocolate, Biscuits, Candy and Gum with billion-dollar brands like Cadbury, Milka, Prince and Oreo and we now have an exciting opportunity to join our team,” the company says of itself… like we needed more encouragement to apply.
The requirements look relatively manageable as well.
- A passion for confectionary and taste buds for detection (TRIPLE TICK)
- Honesty when it comes to giving opinion (TICK)
- Eager to try new inventive products (TICK)
- A communicative personality to build great relationships with your panel (TICK)
- A firm grasp of the English Language (TICK)
The only potential deterrent is that the job is based in the UK.
