Cafe staff burnt with hot water in Uni fight
POLICE are investigating an incident which has left a woman with burns from hot water following a fight between staff at a New South Wales university campus this afternoon.
About 3.40pm, an argument occurred between several staff members of a café at the campus in the inner-city Sydney suburb of Ultimo.
Police will allege a cup of hot tea was thrown at one woman, splashing her face.
She has been taken to hospital with possible burns to one of her eyes.
A man and woman have been taken to Day Street Police Station where they are assisting with inquiries into the incident.
Police continue to interview witnesses.
