Caitlyn Jenner comes out in support of gay marriage

After being grilled by Ellen DeGeneres about her confusing stance on same-sex marriage, Caitlyn Jenner has now come out in support of it.

In a post on her blog, the 65-year-old wrote that “everyone should be able to marry the person they love”.

“Like many people, there was a time when I didn’t realize how important it is for gay couples to have the right to get married.”

“But after hearing from my gay friends and learning more about the hardships they faced because of discrimination, it became clear to me that everyone should be able to marry the person they love.”

“I can only hope that by sharing my story, there’s someone out there whose mind has been changed about trans people.”

Only ten days ago, Caitlyn left Ellen confused after an appearance on her talk show.

When asked whether she supports gay marriage, Caitlyn reluctantly said, “It’s pretty much going to be the law of the land. So I still feel like, yeah, I’m okay with that because I don’t want to stand in front of someone’s happiness.”

Ellen then suggested that she was still “a little not onboard with it”, but Caitlyn insisted that she was.
