There are plenty of emojis that can imply sex (egg plant, peach) but nothing related to safe sex… which is why Durex is calling for our help.
To coincide with World AIDS Day on December 1, Condom brand Durex is calling for a condom emoji to spread awareness about safe sex.
“At Durex, we know that mobile devices and emojis play a vital role in young people’s conversation around sex. That’s why we’re calling for the creation of the world’s first official safe sex emoji, ahead of World AIDS Day on 1 December 2015,” the company wrote.

Durex is encouraging its customers to call upon the Unicode Consortium, who oversee the introduction of new emojis, by using the hashtag #CondomEmoji, in a bid to get them to introduce the safe sex emoji in their next update!
