THE Gold Coast is set to become the new home of the Maroons.
Queensland Rugby League have announced they will be relocating its camp from Clive Palmer’s Coolum Resort to the Coast.
The new base is yet to be decided, with negotiations reportedly undergoing between Sanctuary Cove and Royal Pines Resort.

It’s another blow for Palmer’s resort, which recently lost the Australian PGA Championship.
It’s believed Maroon’s (picture above courtesy of the ABC) management feared they could be forced to move mid-camp during this year’s series against New South Wales.
The Queensland side are looking to secure a record ninth series win.
