ICONIC Australian dishes and traditional entertainment are on the menu as the Gold Coast’s newest foodie hub, Capri on Via Roma, gears up for Australia Day celebrations.
Visitors to the centre on Sunday will be treated to Australian folk tunes from a roving bush band, while a mobile kitchen will host live cooking demonstrations featuring traditional Australian dishes.
Renowned Gold Coast restaurateur, Luke Turner, will also be cooking up a special Australia Day dish from 10:30am from the mobile kitchen.

Other retailers have lined up some Australia Day specials, including vegemite and cheese rissoles from Gourmet Meats, fresh prawns from The Fish Emporium, Australiana-themed chocolates from Mayfield Chocolatiers and lamingtons from The Greener Grocer.
With its waterfront location, visitors to Capri on Via Roma have the added luxury of being able to arrive by boat and moor on a newly designed pontoon.
