Car and motorbike crash throws M1 into gridlock
A car and motorbike crash is causing major delays for motorists southbound on the Pacific Motorway this morning.
The accident happened on the Hope Island Road off-ramp just after 8.00am.
One person was treated at the scene by paramedics for a lower leg injury.
They have since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the patient was taken in a stable condition.
Traffic is at a standstill in the area, with motorists urged to allow extra travel time.
