Car crash knocks out power to hundreds in southeast Qld

Hundreds of homes are without power in southeast Queensland this morning, after reports a car crashed into a power pole.

It happened along Paradise Road in Slacks Creek just after 5.00am.

The crash has caused almost 1,500 homes to lose power this morning, mostly in the suburbs of Slacks Creek and Logan Central.

Around 70 streets have been affected.

Energex is on scene conducting emergency repairs, with at least one set of traffic lights out in the area as well.
