A man missing from Queensland at the weekend, is believed to have been killed in a single-vehicle crash south of the border in NSW.
The 79-year-old man was last seen leaving his home at Warwick about 8am Sunday, and was reported missing to Queensland Police yesterday, Monday 21 September 2015.
About 10.45am, a passing motorist saw a Honda Jazz crashed down an embankment off the Mt Lindsay Road, about 45km north of Tenterfield.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Queensland Ambulance attended the scene and found the body of the driver.
It’s believed the man was travelling south from the village of Legume when the vehicle left the road and crashed. No other vehicles appear to be involved.
It’s unknown when the crash occurred.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine cause of death and confirm identity.
