A man has been charged following investigations into a series of dangerous driving incidents on the Gold Coast on Sunday.
At 7.15pm, police will allege a man drove a vehicle to the Spit at Main Beach where he pulled up next to people who were standing beside three vehicles.
Officers claim that after an exchange of words the man drove towards the group, colliding with one of the vehicles.

They say one man, who was pinned between the cars, suffered a leg injury while another managed to jump to safety but injured his ankle.

Court will be told when the car reached Surfers Paradise Boulevard it turned onto the light rail tracks before driven onto the Gold Coast Highway, towards Southport.
It was found a short time later in Palmer Drive, Labrador, where a 32-year-old Labrador man man was arrested.
He has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to remain at the scene of a crash and assist an injured person, and will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
