POLICE are investigating the cause of a horror head-on crash between a car and a truck in North Queensland.
The vehicle’s collided head-on on the Bruce Highway at Gumlu just before 5pm yesterday.
Police initial investigations indicated the car had crossed onto the wrong side of the road moments before impact.

The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man from Brisbane, was seriously injured in the collision.
He was airlifted to Townsville Hospital with what police said was a “severe arm injury”.
The 52-year-old truck driver was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
