Car flips onto roof in Gold Coast hinterland crash
A CAR has flipped onto its roof following a crash in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The accident happened at Advancetown, west of Nerang, just after 11am.
Paramedics are assessing the occupants of the upturned vehicle which is blocking Nerang-Murwillumbah Road.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the incident appears to be causing a significant hazard.
It remains unclear how many people, if any, have been injured.
Motorists are urged to steer clear of the area, or be patient and proceed with extreme caution.
