A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the patient is stable.

However, the force of the crash was so severe it caused the traffic light pole to come out of the ground.

The wreckage has since been cleared and traffic is flowing through the area, however, the lights remain on flash.

Police are currently directing traffic in the area.

Energex crews also remain at the scene.
