She was treated on scene by both the Queensland Ambulance Service and a CareFlight Doctor before being airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

It’s the third horse fall RACQ CareFlight Rescue has attended in the last three days.

On Saturday a woman in her 50s fell from her horse on a property at Mt Tamborine.

She also suffered suspected spinal injuries and was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

Earlier that day a seven year old girl suffered a suspected fractured arm in the Wide Bay region.

She was airlifted by the Bundaberg based RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew from the Mundubbera Hospital to Bundaberg Base Hospital.
