Carrara man arrested over Pacific Pines ‘burglary with violence’

A CARRARA man has been arrested and charged over what police have called a “burglary with violence” at a Pacific Pines home earlier this year.

It’s alleged the man forced his way into the Bayrick Street home on the night of 21 August and assaulted four men.

Following protracted investigations, police arrested the 44-year-old Carrara man this week.


He has since been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm as well as two counts of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

The 44-year-old man is due to front Southport Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
