Seven people have been charged following an 18-month investigation into the alleged distribution of drugs from a Gold Coast brothel.
Operation Tango Quartz has been running since April last year and culminated this week with raids on 12 properties across the Gold Coast.
They include a brothel on Upton St in Bundall along with homes in Surfers Paradise, Southport and Reedy Creek.

During the raids, officers allegedly found an array of weapons including three pistols, ammunition, a taser and a baton.
Drugs including steroids, cocaine and MDMA were also located along with $9270 in cash.
Two luxury cars, a Lamborghini and a Mercedes were also seized by Police.
Seven people have been charged with a total of 74 offences.
They include a 40-year-old Reedy Creek man who Police allege is the licensee of the brothel.
He’s facing 46 charges including drug trafficking, supplying drugs, possessing weapons and 32 counts of providing prostitution in contravention to license.
A 44-year-old woman from Reedy Creek is facing eight weapons charges as well as charges of providing prostitution.
The pair will front court on October 6.
Detective Acting Inspector Brad Phelps said the nature of this alleged offending is very concerning.
“Removing drugs and weapons such as these from the community is particularly important due to the harms they cause. I encourage anyone with information relating to persons involved in drug trafficking, money laundering and unlawful possession of weapons offending around licenced brothels to contact Crime Stoppers.”
