CCTV released after woman left to die following horror Sydney crash

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they believe can assist with investigations into a horror crash in which a woman was left to die on the side of the road.

The accident happened on Waldron Road at Chester Hill around 6.30am on Saturday.

Police believe a Holden Commodore struck a concrete traffic island before colliding with a power pole.


One of the occupants of the car, a woman aged in her 30s, was found dead on a nearby footpath.

Police allege three other occupants fled the scene, with a hunt now underway.

Detectives would like to speak to the man depicted in the below CCTV and still.


As part of the investigation, police would also like help in identifying the woman who died.

She is described as being of Asian appearance, about 25 to 35 years of age with long brown hair and of medium build. She was wearing black work boots, grey tracksuit pants, black undershirt and a grey hooded zip up jumper.
