Celebrity Chef Darren Simpson has died
The cooking industry is today mourning the tragic loss of celebrity chef Darren Simpson.
It’s understood Simpson, who resided in Byron Bay, passed away from a heart attack, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Simpson was well-known for his appearances on Sunrise and Ready, Steady, Cook. He also featured on ‘The Best’ program on the Lifestyle FOOD channel and My Restaurant Rules.
Social media has been flooded with tributes from fellow high-profile chefs.
“Devastated … the world has lost another brilliant mind,” Jason Roberts wrote on Facebook.
“So sad the hear the news the chef Darren Simpson has died.. too young and one of the best chefs.Thinking of his family xx” Matt Moran wrote.
“Such sad news to hear of my former colleague Darren Simpson passing away today. RIP Dazza,”Andrew Ballard wrote.
