Gold Coast pizza lovers, boy do we have some good news…
We’re about get a slice of much-loved celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, with the British foodie choosing the Gold Coast as the home for his very first Australian Pizzeria.
The restaurant, which features a menu of “simple, honest, tasty food” is set to open at Pacific Fair in the coming weeks.

Construction has already begun at the 148sqm space, with a fun and fresh fit-out underway including an open kitchen designed so pizza enthusiasts can watch their meal being made.
“The Gold Coast is the perfect city to launch Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria Down Under and I’ve got no doubt locals, tourists and especially families are going to absolutely love it,” Jamie Oliver said.
“From tossing artisan pizza dough by hand to removing freshly baked, steaming pizzas from feature ovens, our pizzerias have earned an unrivalled reputation for serving incredible, authentic hand-stretched pizzas topped with the most fantastic and delicious ingredients, not to mention tasty salads and delicious desserts.”
Hallmark Group, which owns and operates the media personality’s other Australian restaurants, says the Gold Coast Pizzeria will be the first of many across the country.
“Jamie continues to revolutionise the food industry with new recipes and concepts, and diners at Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria will get to not only experience tasty and affordable food but with exceptional service in a warm and inviting atmosphere,” Hallmark Group General Manager of Restaurants Petra Orrenius said.
“We are excited to announce that the first Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria on the Gold Coast is the start of an exciting journey across Australia with many more locations on the horizon.”
Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria is due to open at Pacific Fair in the coming weeks.
