There’s already been a serious multi-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway at Coomera, although it’s not known if that is related to the fog.
Brisbane Airport hasn’t been affected at this stage and is operating as normal, however, Brisbane’s City Cat services have been suspended.
The fog is expected to clear around 8.00am into a mostly sunny day, with Brisbane expecting a top of 26C, Logan 26C and the Gold Coast 25C.
