Charges expected after four stabbed near Beenleigh McDonald’s

Police are expected to today charge a man over the stabbing of four people near a McDonald’s restaurant in Beenleigh.

Around midday on Wednesday, a 32-year-old man allegedly stabbed the first victim after they got into an argument following a crash at the corner of Charles and Cameron Streets.

The offender then ran off to a nearby car-wash business where he allegedly tried to carjack a number of vehicles.


Shortly after, it is alleged the man tried to steal a car from a motorist waiting at a McDonald’s drive-through. When the driver refused to give up his vehicle it is alleged the offender stabbed him. Two witness who came to the aid of the victim were also stabbed.

Two men were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in stable conditions, a third was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition, while the fourth person was taken to Logan Community Hospital in a stable condition.

The alleged attacker was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with cuts to his hand and is also in a stable condition.
