Charges laid after police find huge quantity of ICE at Gold Coast home

A Gold Coast woman has been arrested and charged after police found a large amount of ice and cash at a home in Ormeau.

Police from Logan’s Drug and Firearm Team executed a search warrant on Sunday night, October 17.

They allegedly found 121 grams of methylamphetamine, along with clip seal bags, scales and $5,600 in cash.

A 35-year-old Ormeau woman has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs over schedule 3 (methylamphetamine), possessing dangerous drug (cannabis), possessing utensils, possessing things, possessing suspected proceeds and contravening an order about device information from a digital device.

She’ll front Beenleigh court in December.

Police have released bodyworn camera vision of the arrest as well.
