Charges laid at the end of terrifying siege north of Brisbane
A man has been charged, accused of holding Police at bay for nine and a half hours north of Brisbane.
The 48-year-old man allegedly took two relatives and a dog hostage at Redcliffe on Monday morning.
It’s also alleged that he threatened officers who surrounded the property with a home-made firearm.
An elderly man, believed to be his father was released after about three hours.
A second man reportedly his brother, and his dog, were released just before 4:00 pm yesterday.
He’s been charged with assaulting Police and a bomb hoax.
