Charles and Camilla in Canberra for Remembrance Day

Prince Charles and Camilla will be joined by Australian leaders as they take a tour of the nation’s capital today.

The royal pair will start the day at a Canberra defence base, where they will be greeted by Governor-General Peter Cosgrove and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

They will then attend a Remembrance Day service at the Australian War Memorial and lay floral tributes.

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr and school children will accompany the couple as they each plant a tree at the National Arboretum.

The pair will then conclude their Canberra visit at Government House, meeting with war veterans and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten.
